Biography
Irene M. Rodriguez, M.S., LMHC, CAP is the founder and director of Mindful Journey Center. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She is an EMDRIA approved consultant and faculty of the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. She is also Certified Laughter Yoga Facilitator, Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) Facilitator/Trainer and certified Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator/Trainer affiliated to The Institute for Creative Mindfulness. Irene has a private office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she has been treating adults and children. She specialized in trauma-related disorders, PTSD, and addiction. She enjoys teaching clinicians how to incorporate EMDR therapy, Mindfulness, and Expressive Arts therapy in the services they provide to their clients.

Biography
Adam O’Brien, LMHC, CASAC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State. He is located in Chatham (Albany/Hudson area) where he maintains a private practice. He has experience working with addictions, domestic violence, victims of crime, first responders, veterans, children, adolescents, and adults. Adam has regularly been doing trauma resolution “Intensives” sessions and is an excellent resource on this up and coming EMDR therapy service. He has agency, EAP, intensive outpatient, community-based settings, and residential experience. He specializes in addiction (chemical and behavioral), dissociation, complex trauma, preverbal, intergenerational, historical, medical, spiritual abuse, psychedelic integration, and harm reduction. He also has excellent experience with 12-steps, recovery, integrative medicine, loss, anger, and adoption. He is well-versed in Ego State Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Progressive Counting (PC), Brainspotting (BSP), and is in the certification process to become a Certified Expressive Arts Therapist with Dr. Jamie Marich. Biography
Rachel Weaver MSW, LISW-S, LICDC-CS, DBTC, REAT, RMT, RYT-200 graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Rachel has worked with children, teens, adults, the elderly, and groups since 2006. She has been employed as a clinician, supervisor, educator, and clinical director in community mental health agencies, private practices, universities, colleges, and substance abuse agencies. Currently, she is a Social Work lecturer/professor, clinical internship liaison, and supervisor at The Ohio State University. She is also the owner and CEO of WiseMind Consulting & Wellness LLC, a consulting, mental health, and wellness private practice in Columbus, OH. As a social work and chemical dependency supervisor, Rachel provides ongoing guidance and supervision to students, interns, and clinicians; both within and outside of her private practice. Expanding knowledge within the field, she presents continuing education workshops on topics such as DBT, EMDR, supervision, ethics, cultural humility, DSM-5, and many more. Biography
Alexis Rae Burrow, M.A., LPCC-S, CEAT (she/her/hers) has worked in mental health treatment for over 12 years with teens and adults. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from The Ohio State University. She has been employed as a clinician, supervisor, and educator, in community mental health agencies, private practices, and universities. Alexis believes in a collaborative approach that focuses on individual needs and goals.
Alexis has specialized training in Dancing Mindfulness, and is certified as a facilitator. Alexis is a Certified EMDR therapist, EMDR Consultant in Training, Certified Expressive Arts therapist, and a Street Yoga Facilitator. In 2012 she received The Outstanding Doctoral Student in Mental Health Counseling Award from The Ohio State University specifically for her work in supervising students during their first practicum and internship experiences in Community Counseling. Alexis has been supervising counselors getting their independent licensure for over 7 years and is expanding her skill set by working towards becoming an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.

Biography
Peyton Cram LPC, LCDC III, REAT (they/them/theirs) is a Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator, EMDR Therapist, Expressive Arts Therapist working towards their REAT certification, artist, lock on the Youngstown Women’s Rugby Team, and life-long learner. They received their MSEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Youngstown State University and is currently the Outpatient Program Supervisor at Valor Recovery Centers. Peyton is also a Reiki lvl 2. Always thinking outside of the box, which is summarized in their favorite saying “I’m far from left of center,” discovering Dancing Mindfulness was a welcome home that they needed to fully understand themself and knit together their therapeutic approach. This welcome home to self is what has motivated Peyton to work with others throughout the training process. Biography
Katharine Fertig MSW, LSW, LCDC III graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and a Master’s degree of Social Work. Katharine worked with children with severe behavior disorders for 11 years. Katharine was also the recovery specialist at a group home for clients with severe persistent mental health. She has been working as an outpatient counselor and intensive outpatient counselor for the past several years in community mental health. Katharine is now at Hope Village Recovery Center in Rootstown, Ohio. It is a private practice focused on substance use and clients with co-occurring disorders. Katharine is the Trauma Care Coordinator. The focus of her clinical work utilizes EMDR Therapy, as well as expressive arts, mindfulness, and meditation. She has done extensive training on Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Katharine is a graduate of the Institute for Creative Mindfulness EMDR Therapy Training Program, as well as a Consultant-in-Training working toward Approved Consultant status under the direction of Rachel Weaver. She has also trained with ICM as a Certified Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator and Certified Expressive Arts Therapist.
