Danielle Dekker, LMFT is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training in private practice in Oakland, CA working with Dr. Stephen Dansiger. Danielle embraces EMDR therapy as a comprehensive psychotherapy and primary theoretical orientation. Danielle works with adults and specializes in addiction and is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. With both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Psychology from Seattle University and over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health, Danielle has always been passionate about being a therapist. Danielle has worked across various community mental health settings providing therapy, clinical supervision, program development, and training. In addition, Danielle is currently a doctorate student at Akamai University in the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Program, concentrating in Transpersonal Psychology. Danielle plans to conduct qualitative research of EMDR therapy.
