Any grievances are discussed at a quarterly team meeting of ICM faculty leadership, following the receipt of such a request. These meetings include Dr. Dansiger, our doctoral level psychology consultant, social work consultant Dr. Rachel Weaver, marriage and family therapy consultant Dr. Megan Miranda, and director of our EMDR for BIPOC clinicians training initiative, Lisa Hayes, MSW, LISW-S. The ICM team will respond to such requests within five business days of coming to a decision regarding that grievance. ICM home office leadership regularly discusses complaints or grievances around diversity or accessibility with Ms. Hayes and the members of her training teams. We are grateful, as an organization, to be surrounded by such a talented and diverse group of advisors that help us in our implementation of programming and working through any problems that might arise .

Participants also have a right to issue a complaint with any of the continuing education approval sources connected to our trainings if you feel your rights as a learner have been violated or disrespected. These include but are not limited to the EMDR International Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, the Association of Social Work Boards, and the Ohio Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists Board We hope we can arrive at a mutually agreeable solution.
