Continuing Education Approvals

Important Notice:

Continuing education credits offered for each training course vary by each event. Please click the informational link that accompanies each event for more information about continuing education approvals. Most ICM network faculty members for EMDR Therapy training manage their own CE approvals at this time.

You are responsible for checking into which credits are accepted for the state(s) in which you practice. Many state boards also accept out-of-state providers, which is why our Ohio approvals appear on every training, or national providers like NBCC or ASWB. In some states, pre- or post-program approval forms must be sent, and you are responsible for checking into the rules of the licensure board in your state as to what is required.

PLEASE NOTE: As of 2-1-26 The Institute for Creative Mindfulness is no longer a Continuing Education Approved Sponsor with the American Psychological Association (APA). For ICM-run EMDR Therapy trainings with Dr. Jamie Marich, Jasmine Adams, or Lisa Hayes, we are able to provide you with a State of New York Continuing Education Certificate for psychologists which can be used in most states. Please let us know if you are a psychologist at the time of registration (this is in our registration for for ICM-run trainings). Other individual ICM network faculty members might be offering APA credits with their trainings. Please check the listings carefully to determine which basic training is the right fit for you and your CE needs.
