Biography

Introduction:
Michael Kuffel (they/them) is the owner of New Leaf Counseling and New Leaf Trauma Institute in Boise, Idaho. They are licensed as an LCPC in Idaho and an LMHC in Washington. They are genderqueer, bisexual, and neurodivergent. Michael has 10 years of clinical mental health experience and brings advanced training and experience working from an anti-oppression lens with the LGBTQIAP2S+ community and other marginalized groups. They completed their EMDR Basic Training in 2017, EMDRIA-certified in 2020, EMDRIA-Approved Consultant in 2021, and an ICM Network Faculty Member in 2023. As an EMDR trainer and consultant, Michael is passionate about teaching EMDR in an accessible and compassionate way and guiding learners to become self-aware, competent EMDR therapists.

  • $65.00/1-hour group consultation meetings on Friday mornings via Zoom (Maximum of 4 participants/group).
  • You may book back-to-back for 2-hour groups.
