I am beyond grateful that Dr. Sarah Schubert, a well-respected EMDR Therapy trainer, researcher, and co-editor of the forthcoming Oxford Handbook of EMDR Therapy sat down to have this interview with me on “How Much Preparation is Needed in Phase 2?” I truly appreciated the approach that Sarah took to this question in her keynote address at the EMDRIA 2026 Conference, and I’m delighted that she offers her wisdom here in this short teaching video.
